Your customers need phone service, Internet connections, or data lines. They can order the service themselves, but by the time they are done you will be asked a million questions and/or the order will be wrong.
Ordering the service yourself takes time, but it does remove the headaches of making sure the correct service is ordered. Now the question is which carrier? Once you find the carrier how do you find someone to talk with that knows as at least as much as you? Also, how do you know if they are giving you the best offer available?

Direct Sales Agents
What good is it to knock on a bunch of doors, make the phone calls, and work so hard to get a customer interested in your service just to have an agency back office not provide the service that you need when it is time to quote and order the service.
You need a Telecom Agency that is as committed to you as you are to the customer.
Quotes
Does the quote you have contain all the pieces of the service that you need, or will there be a new charge that pops up when it comes time to place the order? If there is a new charge then who is the customer going to blame, you are the group that gave you the quote?
You need a Systems Designer that understands your customers needs and knows how to quote it.
Commissions
What about when it comes time to get paid? You don’t need to be wondering when and if you are going to get a check. Nobody likes to work with an agency that puts commission checks as just another item on their “To Do” list that they will get to this week,… or maybe next week.
You also don’t want to hear things like, “We’ll TRY to get it right this time.”
You need to know that commissions are right and on time.
Order Tracking
About the only thing that could be worse than an incorrect commission check is the inability to know the status of an order. Not much feel worse than placing an order for a customer to convert their phone service and then not knowing the status of the order.
You need to know that what was ordered is what you want and you need to know when it is going to happen. You also need to know the history of the order.
